Vancouver: CinCin Ristorante + Bar
I used to dine at CinCin quite often, almost like two times a week. Not many fine dining restaurants are open late unless it’s connected to a hotel. CinCin quickly became one of my go-to spots for late night eats or whenever I am craving for THIS fish.
Whole branzino, with grilled lemon, bright lights chard, Sieglinde potatoes with garlic and rosemary $39. One of my fave whole fish in the city. CinCin knows I love my whole fishes especially Dover Sole, so on occasion with they receive Dover Sole, they always give me a call. The char-grilled branzino is truly one of my top 5 fish in the whole city, perfectly cooked with a hint of smoke and a nice crispy salted skin. Filleted it table side.
I believe I’ve tried their whole menu here. My honest opinion even though I love this place – everything besides the grilled food is average. The risotto is always good, but not great. I had better before. The risotto featured this night was chanterelle mushroom with truffles and you know that’s two of my fave things. Cannot go wrong.
The menu switches quite frequently here based on what’s in season, can’t wait for my juicy wood fire scallops to be back on the menu. I do also enjoy their charcuterie board and anything that’s from the wood fire selection. Service always good here never had any problems.
